When you walk south from the Ikebukuro area you will soon find yourself in the historic area of Zoshigaya. A stroll along streets lined with the houses of a bygone era, small temples and the locally famous Kishimojin Temple provides for a most pleasant experience. The area can also be reached following a short walk from Kishibojin Station on the Toden Street Car Line after passing through an avenue of zelkova trees, many of which are over 400 years old. |
